Trays and lids

There are a lot of types of trays on the market, in different shapes, colours and materials. Depending on the type of application, it is therefore important to make the right choice. In general, we use three different material types: APET(RPET), CPET(RPET) and PP. For more information on these different materials, we will be happy to help.

APET / RPET

APET/RPET is characterised by its high barrier as a mono material and is therefore a frequently chosen application in the food industry. Furthermore, PET is the only polymer that is 100% circularly recyclable for food applications.

CPET/RPET

CPET, Crystallized PET, is a variant of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) designed to offer higher heat resistance than traditional PET or APET. Moreover, CPET is the only oven-resistant plastic material. Like APET, CPET is a polymer that is 100% circularly recyclable for food applications.

PP

Polypropylene is known for its excellent chemical resistance and ability to withstand both heat and abrasion. PP is valued for its versatility, cost-effectiveness and recyclability, making it a popular choice for a wide range of applications.
